A party is always a fun idea! This holiday season you can make a fun idea even better by hosting a Spirit of Giving party. Whether you already host an annual party or if you’re just in the spirit, a giving gathering can be a great way to join friends and family together to celebrate.
Not everyone is a party planner, so scale your party to fit your time and energy. Next, find a local non-profit or charity that you believe in. It’s always a good idea to contact them and ask what would be the most useful donation. Some organizations need coats and blankets. Others love to get toys or sports equipment. If bringing donations doesn’t feel active enough, gather your family and friends to make floral arrangements for a nursing home, wrap donated presents for the Children’s Hospital or serve a meal at a local food shelter. Whatever you come up with, it will help bring joy to your guests and many, many more.
