Name Droppers Grapevine Name Droppers is an
informal group of genealogists who
meet on the second Monday of
each month. The next meeting will
be Monday, December 9th at 10:30
am. This will be a Show and Tell.
Please join us. Refreshments will be served.
Entwined Minds
Book Club The Book Club meets on the second Monday of the
month for exciting literary discussions. We welcome
anyone who is interested to join
us. On Monday, December 9th at
1 pm, we will meet to talk about
Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy.
The book we are reading for the
January meeting is The Casual Va-
cancy by J.K. Rowling. For more

College Planning Learn all about financial aide, student and parent
loans, and other ways of paying for college. This is a
great opportunity for both parents and high school
students to attend to start planning for the future!

Diabetes Education Join us on Tuesday, December 10th at 11:00 am for a
seminar on diabetes. If you have just been recently
diagnosed, or take care of someone who has the dis-
ease, this is a great place to learn more information
about nutrition and ways to manage diabetes.

Textile Arts The DFW Machine Knitters Guild meets on the second Satur-day of each month to see, hear, and share information about ma-chine knitting. This month’s pro-gram will be held Saturday, De-cember 14th at 10:30 a.m. in the Library Program Room. The next meeting of Quilt Chat will be December 15th at 2:30 p.m. in the Library Program Room. Topics vary from month to month.
Make & Take: Holiday Cards We will be making a variety of holiday
cards on Thursday, December 12th at
7 pm. We’ll have construction paper,
die cut shapes, stickers, foamies, and
glitter glue so you can make special
cards for family and friends.
Dallas Puppet Theater :
Holiday on Strings Holiday on Strings is a magical, musical
marionette treat presented to an as-
sortment of winter music. Please join
us on Thursday, December 19 at 7 pm
for a show that is fun for the whole
family.
R.E.A.D. to a Furry Friend The Reading Education Assistance Dogs
(R.E.A.D.) will not have a program in
December. The next R.E.A.D. session

Weekly Storytimes Toddler Time: 18 months to 36 months. Year
round program on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thurs-
days from 10:15-10:35 a.m.
Preschool Storytime: 3 to 5 years. Year round
program on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
from 10:45-11:15 a.m.
Family Storytime: All Ages. Something different
every week: Storytime, Craft, Performer, or Pup-
pet Show. Year round program on Thursdays at 7
pm. The same storytime is presented all week.
Bonus Storytimes As Announced:
My First Storytime: Birth to 18 months. Six-
week sessions on Fridays from 10-10:45 am as an-
nounced. Next session begins January 3rd. Saturday Storytime: All Ages. Six-week ses-
sions on Saturdays from 10-10:45 am as an-
nounced. Next session TBA.

Craft Afternoon for Teens and Tweens Drop in on Saturday, December 14 between 2.00
-4.00 p.m. and make sand-art candles and “color-me”
bead bracelets as well as other cool crafts which make
great holiday gifts. Decorate a holiday card while you
are at it! Supplies will be provided. No registration
required.
