Jesus asks us to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, and shelter the homeless. Holy Spirit Faith Formation students grades 1-8 are collecting items for St. Anthony Parish in Neopit. The community is suffering

severely from lack of employment and have difficulty affording Christmas gifts. We are asking all of our FF students to bring at least two items from the wish list (emailed and given to students at class on November 6, as well as on our parish website). We are collecting new, NON-FOOD items for adults, elders, children, and teens—such as toys from toddler to teen, cold weather clothing, accessories (no jewelry), art items, games, sports items, and blankets. Sleds and balls are the most popular items.

We will collect items through Wednesday, December 18. The youth of our parish will then be invited to take a bus to Neopit to help the Youth Ministry staff deliver the items personally. If your middle or high school student is interested in helping deliver on Friday evening, December 20, please contact Sarah Elmer, YM, at 450-6440.
