A total of nine teams competed as Wolf Point, Harlem, Malta, Chinook, Poplar, Circle, Hays Lodgepole and Chester-Joplin- Inverness were here. For the Scotties, three wrestlers went undefeated on the day: Gabe Hallock (2-0 at 103 pounds), Matt Reyling (3-0 at 113) and Alex Hallock (4-0 at 152). All 12 Scotties had at least one win, so it was a pretty successful day for them. Coming up this Thursday is the Fort Benton Mixer, a warm-up for the annual CMR Holiday Invitational this Friday and Saturday. With a couple o inches snow last Tursday and what we’re now receiving, nobody is going to have to be dreaming about a white Christmas.  A winter storm system is taking aim at eastern Montana today through uesday, intensiying this Let it snow, let it snow... afernoon and evening as it spreads east toward the North Dakota border.  Te heaviest snowall is expected south o Highway 2 and west o Highway 24. Tis morning’s orecast had Glasgow and Jordan expecting 4-6 inches; Zortman and Winnett 8-12 inches; Whitewater, Opheim and Circle 2-4 inches Plentywood, Culbertson and Sidney 1-2 inches.  Slick and snow-packed roads will cause hazardous trave conditions and delays, and there could also be some possible power outages with this snow storm (let’s hope not).

  Tis past weekend the Glasgow Speech and Dramaattended the extremely competitive and challengingBillings Central Catholic High School InvitationalSpeech, Drama, and Debate ournament, going upagainst nearly our hundred o the best speech anddrama kids rom the eastern hal o Montana.  What could have been a discouraging weekend wassaved by a series o inspired perormances by SeniorMime Mariah Holter on her way to a second place finish;that combined with steadily improving perormancesrom sophomores Reece Hunsley in Dramatic OralInterpretation and Jrake Gutow in Humorous OralInterpretation.  Te rest o the team struggled against the fiercecompetition but is reocused and determined to getback to work in preparation or our meet this week inCircle and our home meet afer Christmas.
