YMCA Fun For Children Child Care Programs Play Center ages 3 months-5 years: • Free babysitting services are available for facility members only, while working out in the facility. • Membership I.D. required for children upon entrance to play center • See member services if you need an I.D. for your child(ren) • Designed to serve ages 3 months-5 years, however, children up to 12 years of age are welcome. • Two hour per day, eight hours per week limit for all children in the Play Center. Monday-Friday, 8:45 am-1:30 pm • 3:45-8:30 pm Saturday, 8:45 am-1:00 pm Sunday, 1:00-4:00 pm The Play Center reserves the right to limit the number of children, at any time for safety reasons. Parents Time Out (PTO) ages 3 months-12 years: Children can play in the Play Center, while parents leave the facility. We ask all participants to pre-register and pay in the play center. Children may be left for up to 4-hours per day, one or two days a week. There is an 8-hours per week limit for all children. Children must be registered. Drop-Ins will not be accepted. Please note that cash will not be accepted.Check/Credit Card payments are due before the program begins. Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-1:00 pm MEM: $7/hour per child • $5/each additional child Parents Night Out (PNO) ages 2-10 years: Parents can enjoy a night off twice a month! All participants must pre-register and pay at the Play Center. Children must be registered by Wednesday 8:30 pm. You will be notified 24 hours prior of any cancellations. Please note that cash is not accepted. Fridays, 7:00-10:00 pm April 11 & 25 • May 9 & 23 • June 6 & 20 • July 18 August 1, 15 & 29 MEM: $15/first child • $10/each additional child. Prime Time After School Care 2008ages 4-12 years: An after school program held on-siteand at the YMCA for the City of Decatur (public andprivate schools). We offer homework time, indoor/out-door games, sports, art, character development andmore! Pre-registration begins Monday, July 28.Participants may pick up a flyer and pre-registrationform at all sites Wednesday, August 6, 2008. Registerfrom 8 am-5 pm. School Sites: Avondale, Hawthorne, Henderson Mill, Laurel Ridge, Oak Grove, Rockbridge, Stone Mountain. City Schools of Decatur (no private or middle school programs).
On-Site: We pick up at select elementary schools within the City of Decatur, McClendon and Medlock Elementary and transport from schools to the Y.
Out of School Days ages 5-12 years: The Decatur-Dekalb YMCA provides an all day program for childrenwho are out of school during teacher workdays andsome holidays. The components of the programinclude swimming, games, sports, art and values. Prime Time Member: $25 Non-Prime Time Member: $25
