SOME MORE INFORMATION

“We faithfully preach the truth. God’s power is working in us (2 Corinthians 6: 7NLT) Despite the challenges of cult activity, translation personnel report that the Baruga church is strong. They also marvel at the fact that, nearly all the music they hear around the village is Christian. Source: https://www.wycliffe.org/prayer/

“My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations” (Isaiah 56:7) and (Mark 11:17).

In Prayer for the Bibleless, our colleagues, the Displaced, the Persecuted, the nations.

The chapel on the edge of the Nairobi University campus is buzz-ing with more than 200 excited university students, gathered for a mid-week evening service… “That Bible that you now have has blood on it,” Paul says. The room falls silent. “Someone sacrificed so you could have it,” he continues. “There are many men and women in Kenya who don’t know Jesus— not because they don’t care. They don’t know Jesus because of a language barrier. This is wrong!” God is asking us to do whatever we can. We can all ‘Run for the Bibleless’!” Source: http://www.wycliffe.net/articles?id=6084

The Nikyob translation co-ordinator reflects on the impact of God’s Word. There is a disconnection without the Bible being available in the Nikyob lan-guage. Over the years, lower church attendance has coincided with an increase in pornography, general immorality and crime… We need spiritual awareness.
