Dear Parishioners,

Beloved in Christ,

Greetings to you all in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Glad to note that the 47th Parish Day Celebration held on 12th Nov. 2010 at Marina Hall Abbassiya, by the leadership of our Diocesan Episcopa Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Tirumeni was

quite good. Around 2000 parishioners witnessed the blessed and joyful occasion. Appreciation to office bearers, kaisthana samithi members and thanks to all organizations & Parishioners for their Prayerful Support. Shall we bind together with the spirit which we received through the Parish Day Celebration and move forward, for the sake of Kingdom of God.

Now, we all are very near to Christmas Celebrations.

‘Coming of Christ’ is Christmas. It is a joyful experience, where our mind, soul & thoughts shines for His Glory. Also the precious time to bow before His presence for the salvation experience of Christmas. Son of God, Jesus, is ready to enter in every hearts and He expects our hearts as mangers. Let us experience Jesus’ Peace, grace, love & Salvation, at our Christmas Celebrations. Always an YEAR ends and an YEAR begins with CHRISTMAS. Let Jesus Christ lives in you, so that He ends & begins with prosperous years.

We are at the end of the 3rd quarter of the financial year 2010. Nov- Dec. months are separated for Special Projects. As usual, this year also, we use the Special Project’s amount, for treatments, [Chungathara, Kumbanad, Ranny & Kattanam Hospitals] and Balavady children`s education [at 4 Mission Fields]. Apart from that, this year we are planning to donate an amount to VAPI SCHOOL. [CBSE SCHOOL for BPL Students at Chala, Daman Road, Vapi, Gujarat, owned by Mumbai Diocese] Let us co- operate prayerfully, in sharing our belongings to our Mission Field.

About Worship: - we have many opportunities for co-operate worship. 4 times a week, we gather together It is good to note that, more people are attending for worships. Children’s participation is very less to remark, even in English Service too. Parents should take more interest to send them for worship services. If you can send your children for worship & Fasting Prayer, you can equip themselves with Jesus to face Different & Unpleasant situation. 2 King. 4:1-7 talks about Prophet Elizha and a poor widow. Children got chance to witness the glorious miracle at their unpleasant situation. If your children can experience, the different ways of God’s blessing, we can gain our children. Let our children Spend time with Jesus & Trust in Him, before trials.

Dear in Christ, please note that, some of our faithful parishners are sick and they need more treatments and care. Let us uphold them in our humble prayers. Please keep them in your both personal & family prayer. May God continue to bless & heal them. Please, be humble ourselves in our health and share our peace with others.

Christmas Carol Service“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”)

Our Church Christmas Carol Service will be held on Monday 20th December 2010, at NECK Church & Parish Hall, at 7:00 pm. To rejoice the birth of the Saviour of mankind; joining the seraphs chorus; our Church Choir (Senior & Junior) will sing Carols and the theme shall be “Immanuel”. Let us participate prayerfully and make it a treasured event.

Family Benefit Scheme (FBS)Notice is here by given that the family benefit scheme membership will be opened till 31st December 2010. All members of the parish those who are not yet joined as the FBS are requested to enroll themselves to the scheme by filling in the prescribed form along with a payment of KD.5/- Please note that the parish members who have completed 18, both men and women are eligible to join the scheme. Membership forms are available with the Vicar, Asst. Vicars, Office Bearers and Kaisthana Samithi members.

Welfare Schemes of Our Parish1. Family Benefit Scheme (FBS) - Offer a timely relief to the bereaved family of any

deceased member.

2. Good Samaritan Fund - Offer a helping hand to the needy ones in our homeland.

3. Temporary Relief Fund (KMTRF) - Extend support to members who face temporary financial difficulties due to loss of job, accident, illness etc…

4. Repatriation & Return Trip Assistance Fund - Help members who could not visit their dear ones for a long time due to financial constrictions. Also help members who cannot return to India due to financial problems.

Regular ProgrammesSunday School: Friday 3:30 pm to 5:15 PM at NECK

Yuvajana Sakhyam: All Saturdays, except 2nd Saturday at 7:30 pm. at NECK Hall of Hope and on 2nd Friday after Worship service at Hall of faith.

Choir: All Saturdays-Junior Choir & Senior Choir-7pm at Abbassiya or Salmiya.

Sevika Sanghom: All Saturdays - Abbassiya at 5 pm, City at 4:30 pm, All Tuesdays -Salmiya at 5pm, 1st & 3rd Tuesdays – Riggai at 5 pm

Edavaka Mission: Fellowship meetings on all Thursdays 7:15pm at Rythum Hall, Abbassiya. Cottage Fellowship on 1st & 3rd Thursdays at Salmiya Parsonage.

Voluntary Mission: Last Thursday of every month at 7 pm.

Teenagers Meeting: Thursday at 5:00pm at Abbassiya Rythum Hall.

Young Adults Meeting: Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at NECK (A.B)

Senior Youth Forum: Every 2nd Saturday at Abbasiya Parsonage at 7.30 pm.

Senior Forum: At 7.30 p.m. on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at Hall of Hope.
