Beginning January 1, 2014, most US citizens are required to have health insurance. It’s an exciting yet challenging time for the health industry as we prepare to provide care for more patients than ever in history. Despite these challenging times one thing never changes, our commitment to providing you with quality care as your community hospital. Many of these changes are dynamic and confusing at times which can stimulate lots of questions and concerns. We want to help by providing education in an easy-to-understand way and helping those who need it, sign up for insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace. Beginning October 1, PMMC will be available to assist Tri-County residents in enrolling into the Health Insurance Marketplace. We will have trained staff who can help navigate consumers as they make decisions about options in health insurance. We’ll also keep our website <PottstownMemorial.com> updated with important information. While this new insurance exchange will probably not affect you directly you may know a friend or someone in your family who may benefit from the additional assistance. Open enrollment for health coverage runs October 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014. As access to health care insurance changes, we look forward to the future as we stay unchanged in our commitment to supporting your health needs with quality care and education. Sincerely, Sharif Omar, CEO What do you want to be when you grow up? Since we’re living longer and healthier than past generations, it seems a fair question. For me, it’s the right time to look at the projects that will fill the next phase of my life and define the legacy that I leave behind. Over the last few months, I’ve been exploring my future. What skills do I still want to learn? What goals do I want to accomplish? What relationships do I want to nurture? What causes do I want to support? And do I want to do with the next 20, 30 or 40 years?! I came up with big list of goals and challenges as I got excited about the possibilities of what I can still accomplish on my “life resume”. It’s bitter sweet to tell you that at the end of this year, I’ve decided to start the “Third Age” of my life. I will be hanging up my hat as your Senior Circle Advisor to start new adventures and check off some items on my bucket list. I leave you and the Circle with memories of many good times with wonderful people and the life lessons that you all have so generously shared with me. Thank you for all you bring to Senior Circle and the caring support that you’ve always show me. Senior Circle will continue as we search for and look forward to welcoming new leadership and new ideas. It’s an exciting time as so many new members are joining our ranks. I know your Circle will be bigger and better than ever! My wish is health, happiness, peace and love for each of you. Much love,

Dear Members

A Word from Your

Senior Circle Advisor:

Message From

Sharif Omar, CEO

We have all heard the saying; we are in a time of

unprecedented change. Well that statement has never run

truer for the current healthcare environment.

For millions of Americans, the availability of health

insurance and access to health services is about to change.

Beginning January 1, 2014, most US citizens are required

to have health insurance. It’s an exciting yet challenging

time for the health industry as we prepare to provide care

for more patients than ever in history.

Despite these challenging times one thing never changes,

our commitment to providing you with quality care as your

community hospital. Many of these changes are dynamic

and confusing at times which can stimulate lots of

questions and concerns. We want to help by providing

education in an easy-to-understand way and helping those

who need it, sign up for insurance through the Health

Insurance Marketplace.

Beginning October 1, PMMC will be available to assist

Tri-County residents in enrolling into the Health Insurance

Marketplace. We will have trained staff who can help

navigate consumers as they make decisions about options

in health insurance. We’ll also keep our website

<PottstownMemorial.com> updated with important

information. While this new insurance exchange will

probably not affect you directly you may know a friend or

someone in your family who may benefit from the

additional assistance.

Open enrollment for health coverage runs October 1, 2013

to March 31, 2014. As access to health care insurance

changes, we look forward to the future as we stay

unchanged in our commitment to supporting your health

needs with quality care and education.

Sincerely,

Sharif Omar, CEO

What do you want to be when you grow up? Since we’re

living longer and healthier than past generations, it seems a

fair question. For me, it’s the right time to look at the

projects that will fill the next phase of my life and define

the legacy that I leave behind.

Over the last few months, I’ve been exploring my future.

What skills do I still want to learn? What goals do I want

to accomplish? What relationships do I want to nurture?

What causes do I want to support? And do I want to do

with the next 20, 30 or 40 years?!

I came up with big list of goals and challenges as I got

excited about the possibilities of what I can still

accomplish on my “life resume”.

It’s bitter sweet to tell you that at the end of this year, I’ve

decided to start the “Third Age” of my life. I will be

hanging up my hat as your Senior Circle Advisor to start

new adventures and check off some items on my bucket

list. I leave you and the Circle with memories of many

good times with wonderful people and the life lessons that

you all have so generously shared with me. Thank you for

all you bring to Senior Circle and the caring support that

you’ve always show me.

Senior Circle will continue as we search for and look

forward to welcoming new leadership and new ideas. It’s

an exciting time as so many new members are joining our

ranks. I know your Circle will be bigger and better than

ever!

My wish is health, happiness, peace and love for each of

you.

Much love,
