Applebee’s International, Inc. (913-967-4000), through franchisee Apple Metro Franchise, will open a 6,700 sq.ft. Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar at the intersection of 125th Street and Fifth Avenue in Harlem, NY during the fall. The opening will be the company’s third in Manhattan, NY.

Academy Sports & Outdoors (888-922-2336) is slated to open an Academy Sports location in a center under development at the intersection of Cobbs Ford Road and U.S. Highway 82 in Prattville, AL. The company recently opened a store in EastChase, located in Montgomery, AL. Hobby Lobby will also open a craft store at the Prattville development.

Columbia Sportswear Co. (503-985-4000) is planning to open a Columbia Sportswear store along Hennepin Avenue in the Uptown area of Minneapolis, MN during April 2010.
