1. Open Chrome

2. Navigate to the

settings in chrome

3. In the settings under

Search, select

“Manage earch

engines”

4. Scroll to the bottom of

this window

5. Paste this URL in the pink box that asks for “URL with %s in place”: http://www.google.com/search?&q=%s&pws=0.

6. In the pink box where it asks for “Keyword” type “g”

7. In the pink box where it asks for “Add new search engine” type “Google De -personalized search”

8. When you are finished

with the steps 5-7 the

screen should look

similar to the

screenshot on the

left.

9. Press return

9. Locate the “new

search engine” you

created in the list

above

10.Select “Make default”

11.Your “new search

engine will appear in

the top list “Default

search settings”

12.You are done.

3. You will know your search is de-personalized when you see the blue bar “search Google De-Personalized Search:” in your address bar.

4. Anything you type in this address bar will perform a clean search automatically
