De Colores!
4th Day Community DE COLORES!
Blessings abound as we felt and saw the Holy Spirit moving among all the team members as we gath-
ered during the last two trainings. Joe and I are so blessed to have the greatest “family” surrounding
this SonRise 91-92 team formation.
Our first training we worked together to get the trailer unloaded. The Kitchen teams worked to feed us,
the Coordination teams making the plans for sleeping arrangements, and the Palanca teams digging in
to prayer. We would not be complete without the wonderful support of our 4th Day Team; someone
has to be in charge of money, printing, running, etc. We are singing our way through worship, praying
our way through rollos, and supporting each other in our journey with God the Father. The second
training was filled with creativity and more wonderful rollos. The joy within each of us increases!
We are excited about St. Paul’s Lutheran hosting us. It has been 20 years since we last were here. Many
of us were either Pilgrims or serving on team back then so this has been an awesome reunion.
Stations of the Cross will be seen by the entire rollo room in the Sanctuary as station members rotate on
and off the altar from behind a curtain. No traveling! We’re very excited about presenting Stations in
this way. If you would like to participate, please arrive at 7 pm on Friday evening.
Other “living” Palanca opportunities include:
Saturday 9am is Agape set-up followed by lunch and tear down afterwards
Saturday 8pm Candlelight service
Web-site food Palanca sign-up and prayer vigil sign-up
Sunday March 8th 2pm: Help load/repack the trailer
March 1st Men’s Clausura Sevice and March 8th Women’s Clausura Service 3pm
Mark your calendars: Attend the Ultreya on March 22nd St. Paul’s Lutheran 3pm
Finally, we thank God for you and for using us to bring His love to the pilgrims and each other. We ask
that you please continue to pray for us, for team and for the pilgrims, that we may all travel safe, stay in
good health, and for the Holy Spirit to open eyes and our hearts to God’s grace and love.

2015 National Via de Cristo Gathering July 23 – 26, 2015~Rock Island, Illinois “Gather at the River: Centered in Christ” Hosting: Living Water Via de Cristo
The Living Water Via de Cristo is honored to be your host secretariat for the 2015 National Via
de Cristo Secretariat Gathering in Rock Island, IL. We have secured the historic Augustana College on
July 23-26 as the site of this event. Rock Island is part of a community known as the Quad Cities. Nestled
along the banks of the Mississippi River, this cozy cluster of Iowa and Illinois cities is centrally located in
our nation’s Heartland making the Quad Cities an easy drive for many. It is also served by its own inter-
national airport, from which we will provide transportation to the college.
We have chosen “Gather at the River: Centered in Christ” as this year’s theme. The Mississippi
River is the lifeblood of the Quad Cities and it’s here you’ll find the only east and west route along the
river. We sincerely hope that you will join us in Christian community to be refreshed and rejuvenated.
You’ll leave this year’s gathering equipped to evangelize your environment with God's grace and for-
giveness. Augustana College, or Augie as it is known in the QC’s, is a private liberal arts college founded in
1860 by Swedish settlers. Its 115-acre wooded campus was recently voted the most beautiful in the nation.
Affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, Augie has managed to artfully blend its
grand past with modern facilities you are sure to appreciate.
How ever you manage to get here, we know you’ll return home with and understanding regard-
ing the many ways we put the “heart” in Heartland as well as an appreciation for our Midwestern hospi-
tality. In 2015, the place to be is the QC!
