SUMMARY

The diamond drilling at the property

in Parkinson Township indicated that there is a major

shearing in the diabase that is filled with quartz and carries

chalcopyrite mineralization. However the chalcopyrite

values are not consistent over the tested strike length of

1200' with only 2 holes #1 and #8 carrying values over

sufficient widths that they would be considered economic.

Further drilling would not be recommended at this time but

the work should be recorded and the claims held.

INTRODUCTION

Pere Marquette Petroleums (Eastern)

Limited has under its control a property consisting of 9

contiguous unpatented mining claims in Parkinson Township.

These claims are numbered S.S.M. 67442-5 inclusive and S.S.M.

71312-6.

LOCATION

The property is located on the west side

of Parkinson Township 12 miles northeast of the Town of

Thessalon on the Trans-Canada highway. Access is by a bush

road from the gravel highway north from Iron bridge.

GEOLOGY

The geology of the area is Precambrian.

The property is underlain by quartz diabases and quartz gabbros.

Striking east-west across claims S.S.M. 67444 and S.S.M.

71312 are shear zones that are filled with quartz and carry

chalcopyrite mineralization. The width of these zones varies

concentrations increased iff the wider zones.

However, the values varied widely from hole

to hole with only #1 and #8 hole carrying sufficient grade

over widths that it would be economic.

DIAMOND DRILLING

A total of 2911 feet of drilling was completed

on the property. (Location plan, drill logs and sections

attached.) The following is a brief resume of the holes.

; The main shear zones were tested by

the diamond drilling over a strike length of 1200'. The

results indicate that although the fracture zone is usually

present that It only carries economic values in scattered

sections.

Further drilling would not be recommended

on the property but the work should be recorded for

assessment credits.
