KITTING, LOGISTICS AND STAGING SERVICES DBK is more than just a hardware and software reseller. DBK is your partner to get mission critical technology to your entire organization with all the accessories and paperwork, pre-staged, pre-configured and ready to go “out-of-the-box”. DBK will act as your mini-warehouse and depot center. We can drop ship all the hardware your users need from our location. If one of your assets fails in the field, the user can simply enter the RMA online, and we can express deliver a working system overnight. We then collect the defective unit, repair it, and place it back into your depot. In addition to rolling out newly purchased or replacement units, DBK can manage your upgrades as well. If you would like to upgrade your units or printers from batch to wireless, add WAN or GPS capability, require a firmware update, or if you would like us to reassign your assets as new stores open or old ones close, DBK has the technicians, warehouse and methodology to quickly turn around your equipment or to store it as the project dictates. Via our sophisticated ServTrack™ system, you have full visibility of all your assets and are able to access tracking information, see where each asset is assigned, and have a running history of failures and repairs.

WARRANTY ADMINISTRATION

Because the turn around time on warranty repairs is based on the manufacturer’s “best-effort,” DBK recommends our Warranty Administration Services. For a low fee, DBK will “hot-swap” a spare pool unit for a broken unit, so that your locations do not incur a lengthy downtime when a warranty repair is required. This means that while you send in the broken unit to be repaired, a working one is already on its way. In addition, we will track the unit and monitor its progress in ServTrack™. You will be given access to ServTrack™ with a username and password designated by you, so that you too can stay updated on its progress. Once the unit is repaired, it will be sent back to DBK, where it will be tested and then put back into your spare pool so it is ready for the next time it is needed. Warranty Administration includes:

Shipping to and from the manufacturer’s service center and shipment to your specified location from DBK

Monitoring and insuring timely returns from the Manufacturer’s Service Center

Access to DBK’s 24/7 ServTrack™ system to monitor the repairs of equipment

Maintaining a depot stock of your equipment at DBK for timely turn around

Customized reporting available upon request REPORTING DBK’s reporting is the most detailed you’ll find in the industry, because so much data is stored for each unit. Based on the customers’ wants and needs and the frequency thereof, custom reports are created by the account-specific Customer Service Representative and shared with the customer. These reports are also used at DBK to ensure SLAs are being met, that customers are satisfied, and to help us discover new ways to improve productivity and efficiency. END OF LIFE TECHNOLOGY RECYCLING, RETIREMENT, AND DISPOSAL With an acute awareness of the financial, logistical and legal burdens associated with disposing of large quantities of retired IT assets, DBK delivers a complete solution for responsible technology retirement, recycling and disposal.
