Session 1 Florida FunJune 8 - June 12 Join us as we start our summer fun by learning about Florida reptiles. Our room will transform into a swampy habitat and we will welcome few “creepy visitors”. We will end our week enjoying the wonderful exhibits at the Alligator Farm!

Session 2 Animal-ManiaJune 15 – June 19 We will continue our exploring of all animals! From zoo animals to farm animals, who can resist them? We will be creating a handprint souvenir book of some of our much loved animals, crafting various animals out of recycled fragments, and last but not least, a fun filled day at the Jacksonville Zoo!

Session 3 Creativity WeekJune 22 – June 26 Join us as we tie-dye, sculpt, paper mache, canvas paint, and much more! We will supply each camper with encouragement, resources, and guidance to create their masterpieces. This isn’t a color by number week! Outing to Doing Dishes and picnic lunch to conclude the week.

Session 4 Independence Week June 29 – July 3 Help us celebrate America’s Birthday! Come join us as we “Camp”, make s’mores, sing camp fire songs, and prepare care packages for our Service Men and Women. We will complete the week with back yard BBQ and homemade water games! Closed Friday, July 3rd.

Session 5 Sports WeekJuly 6 – July 10 Have a blast and burn energy! Old camp favorites such as, Four-Square, Capture the Flag, Kickball, Dodgeball, and much more. Not only will we be playing games and having fun, but also, learning about proper sportsmanship, character building, how to be a team player, just to name a few. An outing to TNT Gymnastics will help us expand some of our never-ending energy!

Session 6 Ahoy MatesJuly 13 – July 17 We will have a full week of training our young ones in piracy! Through role playing, we will embrace our inner buccaneer by learning the language and enjoy the nautical life. Each day, there will be elaborate treasure maps to decipher in pursuit of the daily treasure. The week will end by taking a voyage to the Pirate Museum in St. Augustine.

Session 7 Weird Science July 20 – July 24 Only Mad Scientists need apply! HDS is your lab factory for fun and challenging science experiments. The messier the better. Come join us and let’s do all the things Mom won’t let you do in her kitchen. We will close the week at the all-time favorite M.O.S.H.

Session 8 Pixar Movie Week July 27 – July 31 We will be crafting and dressing in our favorite Pixar character each day - from Toy Story, Cars, Monsters Inc., Despicable Me, etc.. Bring your sleeping bags and favorite popcorn bowl! Our week will end with a trip to see the newly released Minions.

Session 9 Hendricks Luau August 3 – August 7 Let’s end the summer with a Bang! Dig out your hula-grass skirts and Hawaiian leis, as we enjoy a Hendricks Field Day. We will enjoy some fun summer time with some make and takes. The summer will end with a Waterslide and Pizza Day!
