Mrs. Hurd Art Art Rm 201 Day of the Dead Zentagle Skulls How to create a decorative Day of the Dead craft. Step 1: Practice, Practice, Practice those Zentangles! Use hand out, look up designs on internet, and create your own. Step 2: Lightly draw or trace basic skull. Skull does not have to go in the exact center. Try to find and interesting place. Think about what design you want to create. DO you want it to have a certain style…Do you want more room for “hair” type designs…Do you want it to go off the page…or maybe you want it to be off center? Step 3 : Add in Zentangle patterns. Use sharpie over patterns. Keep lines neat, crisp, & clean. The entire page needs to be covered with some kind of design. You may also choose to add in color with colored pencils, ink pens, or markers. Don’t forget to sign bottom right corner with your signature when completed.
