The Athletics Carnival is on next Friday, 1st May and all students will be participating in Track and Field events. We will be practising events at school but it would be an advantage if students could do some fitness running at home over the coming week.

We have a wonderful small school with a hard working class of students and a talented and dedi-cated teaching staff. I am really looking forward to Term 2.

Anzac Day Dawn Service

We would like to see as many students as we can attend the Dawn Service.

Meet out the front of the Country Club at 5.30am ready for the service to commence at 5.45am.

Please wear blue polo shirt, with grey jumper and grey tracksuit pants.

We will have a wreath to lay.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Variety Club—4wd Trek

Next Wednesday (29th April) evening we will be serving approxi-mately 30 people their dinner and dessert which we will have pre-pared early in the afternoon. We are asking if students could please attend the Wyangala Dam Holiday and Recreation Park Community Hall at 6.00pm to assist in serving meals and clean-ing up.

And if anyone is available to also assist on the Thursday (30th April) morning commencing at 6.30am to assist in serving breakfast and cleaning up.

If you are able to attend and require access to the park please speak to Lea and she will arrange access to the park for you.

Athletics Carnival—Friday 1st May 2015, Twigg Oval, Cowra

The Cowra Small Schools Athletic Carnival is on next week. The alternate day for bad weather is Thursday 7th May 2015.

Could parents please have their children at the oval by 8.45am, dressed in their sports uniform in time for the march past parade.

Please pack enough jackets, jumpers, beanies, gloves, etc and of course your fold up seats.

The program and canteen list is attached to this newlet-ter.

Sydney Excursion—19th to 22nd May 2015

Planning is underway for an excursion to Sydney. Please keep these dates free so that all the students can attend.

The student contribution for this excursion will be $50 per student.

If you wish to discuss this excursion in further detail feel free to speak to Greg or Lea.

Responsible Pet Program Visit Friday 2nd April 2015

Mickey the pointer came to visit.

We learnt how to look after dogs and how to ap-proach them and ask if we could pat them,.

Stop 3 steps away

Ask “May I pat your dog?”

If Yes, let dog “SNIFF“ the back of your hand

And then you may pat along the dog‘s back.

As part of our fundraising the P & C will be selling glow sticks on this night.

If you are able to volunteer your time to assist in selling these, it would be greatly appreciated.
