Final Project Unit Plan: Day 3 A – Analyze Learners I will be teaching 25 first graders about the 43 Presidents of the United State, their duties as President, and the important symbols of our country. S – Select Objectives I want the students to learn the process of how a presidents gets elected, and have their own classroom Presidential Election. S – Select Methods, Media, and Materials The students will create their Presidential Elections posters through PowerPoint. I will print the posters and allow the students to decide where to hang them throughout the classroom. U – Utilize Media and Materials The students will share their posters with the class. R – Require Learner Participation The students will vote for the two candidates that are running. The candidates that are running will campaign with their signs. E – Evaluate and Revise I will grade the students on how well they participate in the Presidential Election.
