Final Projec Unit Plan: Day 3 A – Analyze Learners I will be eaching 25 first graders about the 43 Presidents of the United States, their duties as presidents, and the important symbols of our country. S – Select Objectives I want he students to learn the process of how a preisdent gets elected, and have their own classroom Presidential Election. S – Select Method, Media, and Materials The students will create their Presidential Election posters through PowerPoint. I will print the posters and allow the students to decide where to hang them throughout the classroom. As a class we will also visit a twitter page called @kids4president where they will get campaign ideas. U – Utilize Media and Materials The students will share their posters wih the class. R – Require Learner Participation The studens will vote for the to candidates that are going to run for Pesidency. The candidates that are running will use what they learned on twitter to help them campaign. E – Evaluate and Revise I will grade the students on how well they participate in the Presidential Election.
