Activity 1: Verb Booklet Sample

1. Draw 26 circles in equal sizes.

2. Write an action word with a different alphabet in each circle, and a sentence using the

selected word on the circle.

3. Arrange the circles in a booklet in alphabetical order.(Use coloured sheets)

Activity 2: Story Book

1. Make Young’s World a part of your reading.

2. Make a story book of your own by pasting different stories from it on coloured sheets and

decorate it.

Activity 3:

Make masks/puppets of your favourite characters from any story you have read. You will have

to tell the story in your own words in the class using the masks/puppets after the vacations.

Activity 1

Look at Rs 10, Rs 100 and Rs 1000 Pakistani currency and answer the following questions.

• Who is the person on the currency?

• When is his birthday?

• Name the emblem in the left hand corner of the currency.

• Name the languages used on the currency.

• How many pictures are there at the back side of Rs 1000 note?

• Name all the pictures printed on Rs 1000 note.

• Which bank name is printed on the notes?

• Whose signatures are there on the notes?

Activity 2

Make an attractive Animal Pictionary and enhance your vocabulary. Paste or draw pictures of

any 10 animals and write facts about them. Example of one animal is given below.

Lion

Baby lion –cub Habitat-lives in forests. Lions are wild animals. Lions are the only big cats that live in groups called prides.

3. Number the questions in serial order.

4. Draw neat diagrams wherever necessary and label the parts neatly and clearly.
