Following strong growth in 2011, Davies added Heather Childress to the team in May as a Project Coordinator, and Brian Stedge as a Project Manager in June. Prior to Davies, Childress earned a Master of Arts, Media and Public Affairs from The George Washington University and was responsible for all brand marketing communications at Excelligence Learning Corp. Previously; Childress also worked on Capitol Hill for U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill and was a Research Assistant for political commentator and senior news analyst Cokie Roberts. Before joining the LA office, Stedge was an Advocate for Consumer Watchdog where he developed and implemented statewide communication campaigns to educate the public on ballot initiatives. Stedge also served as the Communications Director of External Affairs for the New York State Senate, where he oversaw all staff, consultants, and vendors – and was responsible for crafting messaging that lead to three key victories.
