Davie FastbreakFastbreak is a non-profit youth basketball organization in Davie County started by Tracy Arnold and Germain Mayfield in 2002. The group fields team from 4th-7th grade, mostly Davie county residents and students.The goal is to develop basketball talent to benefit Davie Highs basketball program.The group has had 12 state champions and produced several college basketball players.I have been a participant each year, 4th-7th grade.

PracticeWe practice one or twice a week. Sometimes using unconventional methods.

2012 Season

Coaches: Tommy Hendrix, Willie Cozart.Players from multiple schools including a 2nd grader and a 3rd grader.Multiple runner-up finishes and one tournament championship.

Coaches: Tommy Hendrix, Tracy Arnold.Added a couple players that helped the team.Multiple runner-up finishes and two tournament championships.First trip to Boone Roundball Invitational.Finished 4th in State tournament.

Coaches: Tommy Hendrix, Tracy Arnold.Multiple runner-up finishes and four tournament championships.Defeated arch-rival Yadkinville Cyclones.Finished 2nd at Boone Roundball Invitational.Finished 2th in State tournament.
