Manpower Coordinator: Reduced overtime and manning costs by $550,000 through effective scheduling of inspectors over all three shifts and weekends.

Assembly: Eliminated all non-conforming transmissions for a two year stretch from matriculating to car assembly plants through the UPS tracking and quarantine system and from quality systems checks and procedures that were developed.

QA Lead Supervisor: I was the only supervisor trained in all aspects of our QA department and could run each area with no lead time: Assembly, Receiving, Gauge Crib, Layouts, Gear Labs, Metallurgical Lab and all Machining Departments.

Lead Production Supervisor (8/1991 –7/1994)Controls Inc. Power and Circuit Boards, Logansport, INDuties:The Lead Production Supervisor was responsible for meeting his product line schedules and manning open positions on a daily basis. Also provide training and assistance to employees with new positions. He would assist with fellow supervisors in their problem analysis and cover the 1 st Shift Superintendent in his absence. He worked closely with the QA Department in establishing procedures and to meet customer specifications in all product lines. Recent Major Accomplishments:

Reduced scrap by $8,000 for the Plane, Dometric and Bendix production lines by inserting “pick packs” and eliminating idle parts from sitting on the production floor.

Created ISO9000-certifiable work instructions for 45 positions on the Bendix product lines. This resulted in all new products introduced to our company being run in my department.

Sustained no OSHA recordable injuries through weekly safety talks, safety walks and constant everyday emphasis of equipment and clothing checks for a three year span.

Streamlined Dometric and Trane lines by ten heads by reorganizing the line layout and work instructions. We still maintained maximum efficiency that resulted in a $55,000 cost reduction.

Gave weekly motivational sessions to all product lines in my department. These were rewarding enough, that the entire production floor was shut down and all product lines
