Data Visualization/Reporting Tool for SkyLIGHT TM Platform 1Q 2017 SevOne Performance Appliance Solution is a data gathering, visualization, alerting and reporting tool that has been specifically enhanced to seamlessly integrate with the SkyLIGHT Performance Platform. The SevOne Performance Appliance Solution aggregates Accedian performance assurance metrics from SkyLIGHT Director Vision Module and SkyLIGHT Director Manager Module instances in a highly scalable and granular fashion—with as low as 1 second resolution. With automatic discovery of new network elements and their underlying network objects, it provides a fully automated environment for the most stringent reporting needs. Built using a single node or clustered configuration of Performance Application Servers (PAS), the SevOne solution is highly scalable and can be deployed in a fully redundant configuration. For both single and multi-appliance configurations, each PAS is responsible for storing raw polled data from the elements it monitors for a minimum of one year at one minute granularity. The PAS cluster architecture allows for near-linear scaling. When one peer reaches capacity, another can be brought into the cluster to share the load. Migrating to a cluster is simple: it follows the same growth guidelines as a standalone appliance.
