Protection makes the difference.

The conduct of military operations in the increasin-gly complex environment of Network Centric Warfare represents a decisive contribution to success. All the more crucial is therefore the protection of the deplo-yed command post systems. Such protection does not only include adequate infrastructural protective measures but also provisions that shield the electro-nic components of a command post from any adverse outer influences.

DREHTAINER has developed solutions according to the requirements of STANAG 2280 and 4569 that are already being used all over the world.

Defence technology

Protection

All containers are available in either protected or soft-skinned versions. All containers may optionally be EMC-protected.

DREHTAINER containers offer protection at the highest level against direct and indirect fires as well as the blast impacts of nearby explosions in accordance with the requirements of STANAG 2280 and 4569.

Mobility

All DREHTAINER containers are properly certificated to be transported on roads, by air or sea. Either as an external load under transport helicopters or in the interior of a C-130 Hercules aircraft, DREHTAINER solutions are ready for operation at any place in the world at short notice. For road transports both roll-on containers and the usual container chassis can be used.

Integration

Command post equipment has meanwhile become ever more complex. This is why DREHTAINER solutions include more than simple radio sets but complete command, control and information systems. The provision of the associated infrastructure within the containers makes increasing demands of the container manu- facturer. The integration of different data systems and the embedding of satellite-based communication technology require long-standing experience in the design process.

DREHTAINER offers comprehensive expertise in this sensible field which it is permanently proving in its cooperation with renowned systems suppliers.

Variable size

Every container model to be used will be selected considering the size of the respective military unit or formation earmarked for operation. While smaller units may get by with a highly protected 10-foot-container, full-sized command post will rather require a 20-foot- container. Depending on mission requirements such container can be provided either in a standalone version, in a modular configuration consisting of several inter-connected containers or as a so-called 3-in-1-container.
