SYMA-SYSTEM AG CH-9533 Kirchberg SG | +41 71 932 32 32 | www.syma.ch DATA PREPARATION for PRODUCTION OF GRAPHICS General requirements for data preparation for industrial digital printing of graphics components in exhibition stand construction Arrange data in scale 1:1 or 1:10 Convert all writing in paths and convert line weights into contours For open data: Send writing and all links Do not set logos and texts too close to the edge areas Send data WITHOUT trim marks, registration marks and colour control strips Arrange colours in PMS Pantone Solid Coated PRODUCTION FILES (printable PDF, EPS or TIFF) Do not mix RGB and CMYK data The ideal types are .TIFF - data with LZW - compression Reduce images to background level and delete channels as well as brands Ideal image resolution in standard 1:1 / 100 dpi at 1:10 correspondingly higher (including = possible losses of quality) IMAGE DATA ISO coated (CMYK) or Adobe RGB 1998 (RGB) (however do not mix) PMS Pantone Solid Coated If you have arranged data in another colour space, they will be automatically adjusted to our colour space. This can lead to undesired colour changes on the print. We do not assume any liability for this. COLOURS AND COLOUR PROFILES In principle we do not access data that is supplied incorrectly. However if it is necessary, we will charge for the time taken at CHF 120.00 per hour. The printable data must be supplied no later than on the prescribed date (you will receive this from your SYMA project manager). In the event of delays in supplying data or if unprintable data is supplied, we cannot guarantee production by the deadline. For the data for sail production, owing to the packaging it is necessary for the files supplied to have trims.This totals 24 mm on each side per sail section.
TRIMS
You receive the visible measurements of the individual sails from your SYMA project manager
You add 24 mm trims per side to this to your subject
