Workshop Overview:

With the rise in data management concepts and tools, it became difficult for E&P data managers tounderstand how these technologies interlink and help in enhancing data utilization for betterdecision-making. The ability to comprehend available data management concepts, breakout theircapabilities into individual functions and assess their values to business needs became an importantdata management practice that is needed to secure IT investments and control businessexpectations.

To support data management capability analysis, data related concepts need to be classified andarranged within a holistic Solution Architecture view. This view can help as a baseline (ReferenceModel) for evaluating market solutions in regard to business needs. Usually such view will covermajor data management concepts such as Master Data Management (MDM), Big Data, EnterpriseResource Planning (ERP), Business Intelligence (BI), Data Governance and others.

EventTario and DMBord are arranging this workshop for senior professionals from Oil & Gascompanies to share their experiences with major data management concepts. The workshop’soutput will be utilized to develop a holistic Solution Architecture model that classifies major datamanagement concepts within a single and comprehensive view
