Prerequisites for data download
In order to be able to download data from the Copernicus Space Component Data Access System,the following prerequisites are needed:
1. Eligibility to CSCDA access and applicable user category and access rights2. Successfully validated registration – See Registration Guidelines3. Successfully validated email address in the SSO system – See Registration Guidelines4. Acceptance of the applicable Terms and Conditions – See Registration Guidelines
If one of the conditions is not met, login and/or data download will not be possible.

Data Download Mechanisms
The CSCDA offers multiple data download mechanism. All require eligibility to download from dataset relevant to eachproduct (see the access rights section)
• FTP transfer:The PRISM ODA provides direct access to the archive of EO products delivered to the PRISM, using the credentials ofyour CDS Single Sign On (CDS-SSO, i.e. username and password for the CSCDA data and services) accountMore information is available in slides 4-6
• Order Monitoring tool:Accessed through your Copernicus User’s Personal Area, the order monitoring tool allows visualization of the productsdelivered to each order submitted by your Copernicus Service or Union Research ProjectMore information is available in slides 7-8
• Delivery Notification emails:Delivery notification emails can be configured for standard data requests submitted by your Copernicus Service orUnion Research Project, as well as for all eligible datasets. These emails contain HTTP links to download the dataMore information is available in slides 9-10
• PANDA:The online tool allows visualisation of the complete PRISM archive and the Copernicus Contribution Missions archivesMore information is available in slide 11

Downloading Data via FTP 1/3
Following successful registration (see Registration section), Copernicus users can download therelevant EO data from the Coordinated Data Access System Online Data Archive via FTP, using theirSingle Sign On (SSO) account. The applicable protocol is the FTPS (FTP Secure) and requiresspecific settings in your FTP client and requires traffic on specific ports (990 and range 30000-31000) to be opened by your network manager. After successful log in to the FTP, the following directories will be available:

All eligible CORE datasets and ADDitional standard (non-emergency) datasets are available within thisdirectory

Data from all eligible ADDitional rush (emergency) datasets is available within this directory, dividedby activation ID

Monitoring your requests

Once your Standard Data Request has been processed by the SCI and the data is progressively delivered by the Contributing Mission, you can monitor the status of your Request. From the ORDER Menu in your Copernicus User’s Personal Area, you can select the ‘Order Monitoring’ option (1). You can then monitor the status of your Standard Data Request(s) and, download the delivered data once available in PRISM archive.
(2). Choose the order to be monitored and click on the Check status icon. The new ORDER INFO window will be opened.
(3). Click on the Monitor Button in order to load the details of the order.

From the Order Monitor section you have the possibility to download the products associated to your Standard Data Request by selecting the product Tab (1) and clicking on Product download (2).

Setting Delivery Notifications

By default, users do not receive an email notification for any data delivery made as a result of requests submitted by a member of the Copernicus Service or Union Research Project they belong to.To change the configuration on these notifications, you should log in to your Copernicus User’s Personal Area, select ‘Personal Area’ under the ‘Home’ dropdown on the top ribbon (1) and go to the ‘My Requests’ tab (2).

If you need to Enable the email notifications you have to click in the ‘Notification’ column next to the relevant data request. By clicking on the first flag ‘Enable/Disable Notification’ you can enable the notification of the data delivery of the specific Data Request, while by clicking on the second flag ‘Enable/Disable Notification Completion’ you will receive an email notification informing that the Data Request has been completed. What is PANDA?
PANDA is the user interface for searching, viewing and accessing EO products.
It allows the discovery of products both in the PRISM and in Copernicus Contributing Mission Entities (CCME) catalogues to Copernicus users.
