Dartmouth THE MANDELA WASHINGTON FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM is the flagship of President Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). This summer, Dartmouth is hosting 25 Mandela Washington Fellows from 19 countries throughout sub-Saharan Africa for a Business and Entrepreneurship Institute. The flags in this exhibition represent the home countries of Dartmouth’s 2017 Fellows. These accomplished women and men are change agents in their communities.
