    INTRODUCTORY NOTES

Weather: July is regarded as mid-winter in New Zealand. It is light by about 7.15 anddark by 5.15 and the days can be bitterly cold. Come prepared! Tracksuits and beaniesfor training and maybe a windbreak shell as well. However, some of our best days arealso in the winter with still clear days under sparkling blue skies - just watch out for thefrost that preempts them!

Courts: Where possible the games will be held indoors. However, almost all amateurnetball is held on outdoor courts of varying surfaces.

Post Game Arrangements: We want to encourage post-match socializing and so request

this from all hosting teams. It is customary to exchange mementoes of the visit and to

share in some food and drink with both teams.
