The first two shots show very well known production companies. Warner Brothers is shown first, showing that it is more famous and more important. As the film opening titles begins, the next two shots are also of the same production companies; Warner Brothers

presents and in association with Village Roadshow Pictures, showing that both production companies provided money for the funding of the film. Village Roadshow paying less, as it

is a slightly smaller company.

Infinitum Nihil is Johnny Depp’s production company; this is also quite well known. GK films is another, less well known company. The last production company shown is shown separately in the shot, this shows that it is important, because it’s shown by itself so the audience has time to read it.
