PRESENTATION

A black hole is similar to a vacuum cleaner, cleaning up debris left behind in outer space.

A black hole uses the power of

gravity to pull things towards it. 

A black hole's gravity becomes

so powerful that anything, including

light that gets too close, gets pulled in. That's right, not even light can escape the grasp of a black hole

T: I need eleven volunteers to come to the board. Ten volunteers will wear black aprons and make the black hole and the other one

(eleventh student) will travel in the black hole.

(Teacher chooses eleven volunteers for the activity.)

T: Who wants to travel in the black hole?

Ss:…………….( Teacher chooses a

students and says.)T: One student will travel

in the black hole. The others listen to me, take your black aprons and wear your black aprons

(Students wear the black aprons.) Teacher uses black

trash bag as a apron.)T: Now, hold your hands

and make a circle.(Students make a circle.)

T: (One student) please stay in the middle of the circle.

T: Now, revolve around one student at normal speed.

T: (The student in the middle of the circle) ,close your eyes and imagine that you are in the black hole and you are falling slowly, if you are falling and everywhere is dark say “Yes”.

The student in the middle of the circle: Yes..

T: Ok, then you are falling faster and faster.

T: Now, you are hearing a sound. If you hear a sound

raises your hand.(The student in the

middle of the circle raises her hand.)

T: (The student in the middle of the circle) you can open your eyes. How did you feel? Do you like falling in the black hole?

The student in the middle of the circle: I was so dark and I’m afraid of darkness.

T: While you were falling, you heard a sound. Can you say what kind of sound you have heard?

S: I have heard a scary sound.

T: Ok thank you, Ayşe. You can sit your seat and the others please take off your aprons and sit your seats.
