LocationBishopton is an attractive town lying circa 10 miles to the West of Glasgow and within 3 miles of Glasgow International Airport. The town is situated to the immediate south of the M8 and a new motorway junction 29 A will be constructed in 2018. The DevelopmentDargavel Village is now an established location and extension to the village of Bishopton. The total site extends to 2,761 acres and the core development area is over 500 acres. This has planning consent for 2,600 homes, circa 50,000 sq ft or retail space and circa 1.6 million sq ft of business space.

The primary infrastructure has been completed with distributor roads entering the site from the north and south. The southern access will link with the new M8 junction 29A in 2018.

The remediation of plots is ongoing and the phased release programme is as follows:

• E1 – 22.21 acres Available end 2015

• E2 – 28.74 acres Between 2018 and 2021

• E3 – 36.15 acres Between 2018 and 2021

It is possible to combine or extend the plots to accommodate a large single user and it may be possible to accelerate delivery.

The Historic Dargavel House is a potential additional amenity. This Scots baronial mansion would make an excellent headquarter office following refurbishment.
