I am writing in order to ask that you grant Prosecutorial Discretion to Daniel Alejandro Lopez Santiago. He is a well respected member of our community and should not be deported to Mexico. My name is Andalusia Soloff and I am a radio producer and part of a national radio network Medios Caminantes. It is through this network that I met Daniel Lopez in June 2011.

He has been a very active member of the network, using radio and videos to promote human rights for farmworkers, immigrants and US citizens. I have great respect for the work that he has done with our network and continues to do. He is extremely invested in his community and continually acts to better not just his own situation, but humanity as a whole. He is very responsible and incredibly respectful of his colleagues. Whenever we have planned national internet radio broadcasts he has always participated in the planning and the actual broadcast.

I also work at the non-profit immigrant organization Families for Freedom in New York City and have seen how deportations have torn apart many families. Daniel Lopez does not pose any threat to the community and should be allowed to stay with his community here in the United States.
