EXTENDED SUPERVISION: Program hours are from 9:00am-4:00pm daily. Extended supervision is available

from 8:00-9:00am & 4:00-5:00pm. There is no extra fee for extended supervision

and no requirement to book extended hours in advance.

require administration of medication during camp hours

PROGRAM SCHEDULE: Students will participate in dance classes, choreography sessions, art, games &

special activities throughout the week. Refer to page 2 for more details on the

weekly activities. New this year, we’ll be visiting “Recharge & Play” in our complex

to use the play structure. The “Recharge and Play” trip will take place on

Wednesdays after lunch. The children will require socks and a completed waiver.

Each week we’ll also do “Games on the Green” following lunch on Tuesday and a

“Picnic Lunch” on the Green space on Thursdays (weather permitting). During the

week, we will be working towards a dance performance which will take place at the

end of the day on Friday.

DANCE camp CHECKLIST WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CAMP?

PERFORMANCE: Our Friday performance provides the opportunity for the students to share their

success and accomplishments with an audience. Family and friends should mark

the date on their calendar. Our showcase will take place at 3:30pm on Friday at the

studio. We hope you will join us!

LOCATION: The Carousel Dance Centre is located at 550 Parkside Drive, Unit D7 which is

located at the northeast corner of Weber and Parkside Drive between Northfield

Drive and Weber Street. Our facility is 8,650+ square feet, and has 4 spacious

studios with sprung floors, dancer’s changing room, student lounge and parent area

with viewing windows. There is lots of parking conveniently located right in front of

the studio.

SIGN IN/SIGN OUT: Each day, children will join us in the PURPLE

STUDIO upon arrival. There will be a sign-in/

out sheet located at the front desk. Parents

will be required to sign their child in and

out each day.

Outdoor Time & Field Trip to “Recharge & Play” Located on-site at 550 Parkside Drive

On Tuesdays and Thursdays (weather permitting), students will spend time on the green space at 550 Parkside Drive for games on Tuesday and a picnic lunch on Thursday. Please send a sun hat, runners and sunscreen for outdoor time. On Wednesdays, campers will walk to “Recharge & Play” to use the indoor play structure. Please be sure that your child has socks for use on the indoor play structure. I give permission for my child ________________________________________ to travel to “Recharge & Play” and to spend time outside at 550 Parkside Drive with Carousel Dance Centre Staff as part of Carousel’s Summer Dance Camp Program.
