Dan Bolster, a native of Fulton New York, has played for many churches in NY, MA, and NH. His love of Pipe organs (and music in general) started at a young age. He took piano lessons with Kimberly Yerton and now takes organ lessons with Frederick MacArthur. Many people ask where Dan went to school for music, but his college education is in the environmental sciences where he has a bachelors degree in environmental science systems from Le Moyne College (Syracuse, NY) and a masters degree in natural resources from the University of New Hampshire, where he moved from NY to NH seemingly overnight to accept a teacher's assistantship in natural resources. Luckily, Dan met his wife Rebecca on his new adventure to the New England seacoast. She is a musician and piano teacher who obtained her bachelors degree from the University of New Hampshire in piano performance, studying under Arlene and Chris Kies. Dan and Rebecca often play music together and inspire each other to play their best all the time. Dan continues to spread the love of God and of science as a certified middle school science and religion teacher at St. Joseph Regional Catholic School in Salem, NH, where he also plays their school masses. Dan looks forward to working with the choir, cantors, and other musicians at St. Joseph’s Church.
