DAMUX PDH MULTIPLEXER

General DescriptionDAMUX is a PDH multiplexer that combines over aframed E1 to the network data coming from up to 5

ports: 1 G.703 Drop & Insert port for PABXconnection, 2 serial (nx64) synchronous portssynchronous for router or videoconference systemsconnection, 1 bridge 10BaseT for LAN or PCconnection and 1 RS-232 asynchronous port for low

speed access control systems. The 2 serial ports canbe software configurable between different electricalinterfaces as RS-232(V.28), RS-422(X.21), RS-449(V.11), V.35, V.36.

The multiplexer can be managed locally using theGUI DAVANView Lite software over Windows OS bymeans of a serial RS-232 asynchronous port that can

also be used as a console port for system

configuration with an HyperTerminal or any otherVT100 emulation. The multiplexer can also beequipped with an optional SNMP Agent for remotemanagement with DAVANView SNMP Manager

software.

The multiplexer has a standard 19 rack mountformat 1U height. Power supply can be AC or 48DC.
