Patrick Tolchard Moved to the Columbia Valley in 2014 to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, started working with ski resorts in 2009 and decided to pursue an education in outdoor recreation. In 2013 Patrick graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Ecotourism and Outdoor Leadership and this is what brought him to the Columbia Valley. After 3 years of hiking the Bugaboos, climbing the Purcell’s and swimming the springs, this is where he had to be. Since moving to the Columbia Valley Patrick spends his free time exploring the area from valley to peak at all times of the year. He was recently an events coordinator for Resorts of the Canadian Rockies before moving to Radium Hot Springs where he is now a member of the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort team as the Special Events Coordinator. He’s an animal lover with 2 dogs & 1 cat as well as a camping enthusiast—and yes all of the animals camp, including the cat!
