Dalea lutea Sierra Moonrise™

Sierra Moonrise™ is a selection of

Dalea lutea that grows native in cen-

tral Mexico and into Guatemala.

This Chihuahuan desert native will

form a large evergreen shrub, but it

will go deciduous in colder climates.

Spikes of bright yellow flowers are

produced at the branch tips from late

summer through the fall. Drought

tolerant once established, Sierra

Moonrise™ does appreciate regular

watering to get started. Grows well

in full sun to partial shade in well

drained soil.
