N OTES The crown of the hat is worked in continuous spira ing rounds. The co ors in the crown are not cut and re-joined,so you may nd it he pfu to p ace a safety pin in the ive oops of inactive co ors whi e working with the activeco or to prevent them from unrave ing. When switching co ors, simp y remove hook from oop of current co orand p ace oop of next co or to be used on the hook. Once the crown is comp ete, the hat is worked down to thebrim with no further increasing.
