www.ganeshstock.com 1 | Page DAILY NEWS LETTER Date: 16.09.2019 Nifty Short Term Trend The Nifty gained strength in the last hour of trade and closed on a strong note on September 13, driven by hope of more steps from the government to boost growth. The European Central Bank (ECB) stimulus and easing of US-China trade tensions also lifted sentiment. The index recouped its previous day's losses to close above 11,050 and formed a bullish candle on daily as well as weekly charts, indicating strength in the market. If the index gains further and gives strong breakout above 11,141 levels, the next resistance, then it can make a way towards crucial 11,300 levels, experts say. The index closed 93.10 points higher at 11,075.90 and for the week, it gained 1.18 percent. It was heartening to see the Nifty50 recouping all the losses registered on September 12, thereby negating the impact of bearish formations before signing off the session with a strong bullish candle on both daily as well as weekly charts. For today’s session until Nifty is sustaining above 11,000 we can see more upside towards 11,120-11,160 while on the downside 11,000- 10,910 would work as intraday supports. The Bank Nifty, too, bounced back from the lows and closed 1 percent higher at 28,098.75 and gained 3 percent for the week. We have been eyeing 28,500 zone on the upside and we continue to maintain our bullish stance on the Nifty Bank. A breach of 28,500 on a sustainable basis would have bullish implications. As long as Bank Nifty sustains above 28,000, we can expect the index to move up until 28,300-28,500 while on the downside supports can be expected near 27,800-27,500 for the coming session. Nifty Short Term Trend

The Nifty gained strength in the last hour of trade and closed on

a strong note on September 13, driven by hope of more steps

from the government to boost growth. The European Central

Bank (ECB) stimulus and easing of US-China trade tensions also

lifted sentiment. The index recouped its previous day's losses to

close above 11,050 and formed a bullish candle on daily as well

as weekly charts, indicating strength in the market. If the index

gains further and gives strong breakout above 11,141 levels,

the next resistance, then it can make a way towards crucial

11,300 levels, experts say. The index closed 93.10 points higher

at 11,075.90 and for the week, it gained 1.18 percent. It was

heartening to see the Nifty50 recouping all the losses registered

on September 12, thereby negating the impact of bearish

formations before signing off the session with a strong bullish

candle on both daily as well as weekly charts. For today’s

session until Nifty is sustaining above 11,000 we can see more

upside towards 11,120-11,160 while on the downside 11,000-

10,910 would work as intraday supports.

The Bank Nifty, too, bounced back from the lows and closed 1

percent higher at 28,098.75 and gained 3 percent for the week.

We have been eyeing 28,500 zone on the upside and we

continue to maintain our bullish stance on the Nifty Bank. A

breach of 28,500 on a sustainable basis would have bullish

implications. As long as Bank Nifty sustains above 28,000, we

can expect the index to move up until 28,300-28,500 while on

the downside supports can be expected near 27,800-27,500 for

the coming session.

Financial & Economic Wrap Up

Auto-makers Maruti Suzuki India and Tata Motors'

domestic passenger vehicle market share declined in

April-August this year, while Hyundai and M&M

witnessed gain in the same period, as per data

compiled by industry body SIAM. The country's largest

car-maker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) saw its market

share dip by over 2 percentage points during the

period under review and slip below 50 percent in the

domestic passenger vehicle segment in April-August.

Foreign portfolio investors turned net buyers in the

first half of September, pumping in Rs 1,841 crore into

the capital markets, after remaining sellers for the

previous two months. The latest inflows have been

triggered by improving investor sentiment on the back

of easing US-China trade war.

Reliance Industries and UK's BP plc have taken over

the 10 percent shareholding of their partner Niko

Resources in the eastern offshore KG-D6 block after

the Canadian firm defaulted on paying for its share of

gas field development cost. Sources with knowledge of

the development said the oil minister has given

'unconditional' nod to Reliance and BP for taking over

10 percent interest of Niko in KG-DWN-98/3 or KG-D6

block in the Bay of Bengal.

The government on September 14 announced a new

scheme - Remission of Duties or Taxes on Export

Product (RoDTEP) - that will replace the existing

Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS) in

order to boost exports. "The MEIS scheme will

continue till December 31. Textile and other sectors

that currently enjoy incentives up to 2 percent over

MEIS will transit to RoDTEP from Jan 1, 2020," finance

minister Nirmala Sitharaman said.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on September 14

announced a special window worth Rs 10,000 crore

for last-mile funding of non-NPA and non-NCLT

housing projects. This will provide relief to

homebuyers stuck in incomplete projects

totaling nearly 3.5 lakh units across the country, "A

special window to provide last mile funding for

housing projects which are non-NPA and non-NCLT

projects and are networth positive in the affordable

and middle-income housing category will be set up,"

the FM said addressing her fourth such conference

since mid-August to announce measures to boost the

ailing economy.
