The album is composed by Kumwar Shambhu Singh and directed by Surender Singh Manhas. It is the collection of devotional songs in Dogri in praise of Goddesses of Jammu region. The function was organized by renowned singers Slathia Bandhu and JKNPP provincial general secretary Rajesh Padgotra was the chief guest on the occasion. Amongst others who attend- ed the function, included Mohan Singh Slathia, Sarpanch Khazoor Singh, Rakesh Singh Slathia, Raman Singh Slathia, Dinesh Singh Slathia, Ram Kumar Sharma, Capt Karam Chand Sharma, Govind Sharma, Dr Joginder Bhagat, Inderpal Singh Bhagat, Parshotam Singh, Raj Kumar, Guddu Ram Bhagat and Sohan Lal. Madhuban was elected as chairman unanimously, while other office bearers included Ravinder Balgotra as president, Bittu Kumar as vice president, Rohit Kumar as general secre- tary, Shiv Raj as joint secretary and Sita Ram as cashier. The executive members are Sunny Sangotra, Suhail Bhardwaj, Amit Kumar, Maink Kumar, Vishal Kumar, Rajesh, Pawan Kumar, Munna Mangotra, Mantoo, Kala and Arun Kumar. NEW DELHI, Oct 23: The Enforcement Directorate today ordered attachment of over a dozen high-end branded watches belonging to arms dealer Abhishek Verma and his wife in connection with a probe against them for allegedly receiving money from a Swiss defence firm to keep it out of the gov- ernment’s blacklist. The watches have been termed as “proceeds of crime” by the agency which seized them under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Sixteen watches, worth Rs 44 lakh, sport some of the finest and most popular international tags including Rolex, Luminor Panerai, Hubolt Geneve, Louis Vuitton, Blancpain, Bvlgari, Franck Muller, Gianni Versace, Omega, Franck Muller, Calvin Klein Jeans, Piaget, Ulyssee Nardin and Longiness. A police spokesman said an Alto car bearing registration number DlCC-5697 hit and injured Mohammad Qazim Rather son of Abdul Aziz of Arigam in district Pulwama. The injured succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital. A Honda City car bearing registration number HR-9178 hit and injured Rahti wife of Abdul Samad of Kondbal, Rainawari near Jogilankar in Srinagar district. The injured was shifted to a hospital for treatment. Factory damaged in fire Excelsior Correspondent SRINAGAR, Oct 23: A sweet manufacturing factory was partially damaged in fire in Anantnag district. Police said fire out in the sweet manufacturing factory (AFP Manufacturing Pvt. Co.Ltd) belonging to Monees Iqbal son of Ghulam Nabi Imam of New Colony, Bijbehara located at K.P Road, Anantnag. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders and local police.
