If red roses grow in heaven, Lord, pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my daddy's arms, And tell him they're from me..... Tell him that I love and miss him!
And when he turns to smile, Place a kiss upon his cheek, And hold him for a while.....
Because remembering him is easy, I do it everyday.
An ache thats been heavy on my heart, Since the day my daddy passed away....
I've cherished and treasured all our memories.
And when I felt I needed his love and comfort,
His love has shadowed within my heart, Deep inside of me.
So if red roses grow in heaven, Lord, pick a bunch for me!
Please place them in my daddy's arms, And tell him they're from me!
Rest in peace
daddy.
