Blood/Murder/Torture Secluded locations/scenes Suspense music Young characters Monster/Supernatural/Possession of character ‘Real Fear’ Yes some of the typical expectations in horror films were featured in the opening scene. These features such as sound effects, monsters/masks, music are what I was hoping/expecting to see in a horror film and were used accurately for maximum effect and scare. Use of young/adventurous characters – commonly seen in horrors Sound effects to add to suspense Use of odd/creepy music Monster/masked character The element of real fear, placing the audience in the scene All these elements are used in top, professional horror films and were ‘recreated’ to achieve the same outcome – horror. Yes I do and i would say anybody of any age or gender would be targeted for this media film.
