Hosting a Dad Cents Seminar:

Thanks or your interest in hosting a Dad Cents seminar. We look orward to hearing howwe can best serve your group.

To book a live seminar you need:

1. A venue that can hold 100+ adults

2. Support o the senior pastor and sta

3. Sound and video projection

4. Passion to get the word out to your community

5. A point person or contact and to direct your in-house promotions

Because o Shane’s experience with Ken Canfeld and Savvy Dads conerences, he knows one

o the main concerns is always “how much will it cost the church?” With that in mind, we have

created several options that allows the church to have little to no expense. We ask that 100%

o the travel expenses are covered with a minimum o 25 pre-paid attendees. With 80 to 100

pre-paid attendees we split the travel expenses and with a minimum o 100 pre-paid attend-

ees, Dad Cents will cover all travel expenses. This oers your church the possibility o hosting

an event with little out o pocket expense.

The cost o the conerence is $40 per amily. Each amily will receive one copy o the seminar

manual and one copy o the Dad Cents book. In light o today’s amily structure, we desire

that mom’ and dad’s attend whether they are married or single parents. Even though Dad

Cents is entitled or dads, both parents must be on the same page when parenting withmoney. The seminar is a antastic tool as well or blended amilies.

We ask that you provide on site registration. Our team will provide online registration and re-

sources or media promotions (promotional videos, mail templates, bulletin insert templates

etc). We also provide resources or purchase at the seminar and will oer additional seminar

workbooks at $5 per attendee.

Shane P. Barkley

Shane is the President of Dad the Family Shepherd (DFS) and author of DadCents. Before joining DFS, Shane gained 10 years experience in the Finan-cial industry as a nancial consultant and co-owner of a Registered Invest-ment Advisory rm.

Dad the Family Shepherd was founded in 1984 by former Dallas Cowboylinebacker, Dave Simmons. DFS has held conferences in 11 countries andhas ministered to over 100,000 men. Shane assumed a leadership role inJune of 2007. He founded the Savvy Dads Conferences with featured speak-er, Ken Caneld Ph.D. and authored his book Dad Cents (Oct. 2009).

Shane is presenting workshops for Iron Sharpens Iron men’s conferences,Savvy Dads conferences and Dad Cents one day seminars at churchesaround the country.

He attended Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, where he played baseball,and John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Shane has a Bach-elor of Science in Business Administration and minor in History from JohnBrown University.

Shane has been married to his beautiful bride, Valerie for 16+ years. Theyhave three daughters and reside in Topeka, Kansas.
