    Executive Summary

Impact sustainability when it comes to Dissemination and Communication activities, calls for the use

of proper tools to achieve this goal. Nowadays, electronic means of communication are placed in high

importance level in order to achieve not only the most effective impact but in the same time, the most

    sustainable one.

Within this scope, FORESIGHT developed and launched its official information web portal to make

available for its stakeholders and public audiences the core elements of this project. Information

regarding FORESIGHT profile in terms of its vision, scope and objectives as well as consortium

composition, access to scientific publications, news and activities and planned work of the project is

    available via the web portal.

FORESIGHT is making efficient and effective use of social media channels in order to increase the

spread out of information regarding its activities and outcomes aiming at a global audience of

stakeholders and third interested parties. In this way, the potential for the electronic networking

activities of the project will be further increased and it will function in a fully supportive way along with

the physical presence of its consortium representatives to various events. The latter will have a strong

reference point urging FORESIGHT stakeholders to stay up to date by following the social media

channels of the project; even to participate in a public dialogue when it comes to technologies related

    to the project’s objectives.

The proper function and use of the above-mentioned electronic means of dissemination and

communication combined with the active presence of the FORESIGHT consortium representatives to

them, will eventually lead to the requested Impact Sustainability.

    3 Conclusions

The selection and the fine-tuning of the means to disseminate results and communicate the vision and

scope of FORESIGHT is characterized by two main pillars:

    ▪ Cross-consortium collaboration

    ▪ Responsiveness to audiences’ inquiries

These two pillars will constitute for FORESIGHT the solid base and in the same time the fertile ground

to achieve the requested Sustainability Impact. Incorporated to an integrated dissemination and

communication strategy towards raising awareness of the project stakeholders and public audience,

FORESIGHT will increase its dissemination and communication potential using these electronic means

    of communication.

The ongoing collaboration effort through the framework of the project consortium, will assure the

continuous monitoring of the project website and social media channels to maintain the audience’s

interest to the utmost degree. Websites and social media channels are “live organisms” within the

world wide web. The latter calls for maintaining their content up to date while at the same time the

responsiveness providing feedback to FORESIGHT audience will be constantly efficient and effective.

FORESIGHT will also use the website and social media channels to spread-the-word regarding the

publication of its annual electronic newsletters, which will present ongoing activities and future

planning of the projects. Through the use of all the available communication channels the outreach of

all dissemination and communication material will maintain the respective sustainable impact.

FORESIGHT consortium from the very beginning of the dissemination and communication activities

gives emphasis to identify any potential emerging communication threats. These will be dealt

accordingly, and they will be always subject of their assessment, evaluation and correction in case they

    occur.
