An exhibition by Art for All AbilitiesSpan Community House (Clyde St, Thornbury)
The members of the Art for All Abilites class program held at Span Community House in Thornbury come together with Yve Design to celebrate work created in 2018.
This year has largely focussed on portraiture and the idea that it can extend to various themes and artistic applications. The multi-level expression of self through differing briefs and mediums have provided works that not only capture each member’s inbdividual creativity and style, but their ability to produce profoundly captivating works.
Dominique, Rowena, Christie, Michael, Julie, Tina, Wendy, Helen and Anastasia meet each week with art facilitator Sheena Mathieson to celebrate, communicate and express art through the eyes of recycled materials and creative projects and briefs. Volunteers, Julian, Andy, Amy and Catherine; and support workers, Kathy and Fiona, have contributed to the experience and also feature in Cameo.
