DosBox Fr ontend Reloaded

Running DOS games has never been easier...

D-Fend Reloaded is a gr aphical environment for DOSBox. DOSBoxemulates a complete computer including the DOS commandline andallows to run nearly all old DOS based games on modern hardware withany of the newer Windows versions.

With DOSBox there is no need to worry about memory managers or free conventional RAM, but the setup of DOSBox is still a bit

complicated. The configuration of DOSBox via textbased setup filesmight be difficult for beginners. D-Fend Reloaded may help and createthese files for you. Additionally the D-Fend Reloaded installationpackage contains DOSBox (including all lanuage files currentlyavailable), so there is only one installation to be run and no need to linkD-Fend Reloaded with DOSBox manually.

Differences between D-Fend and D-Fend Reloaded

In some way D-Fend Reloaded is a successor of the discontinuedsoftware D-Fend. Both environments look alike and D-Fend Reloadedcontains all the features of D-Fend. Even the D-Fend config files arecompatible with the current program. However, unlike D-Fend, D-FendReloaded is open source.

Portuguese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German,Italian, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, TraditionalChinese & Turkish), DOSBox 0.74 (including all currently availlanguage files) and the FreeDos commandline tools.

D-Fend-Reloaded-1.4.2-UpdateSetup.exe (5.9 MB)

This package requires an existing D-Fend Reloaded installation andwill update this installation to version 1.4.2. This package contains D-Fend Reloaded 1.4.2 (Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, Danish, Dutch,English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, SimplifiedChinese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese & Turkish) and DOSBox 0.74

(including all currently avail language files).
