EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Dissemination in SCARLETT project covered all actions by which the knowledge and ideas generated in the project could be made known and transferred to target groups and to the public in general. The knowledge gained individually or collectively were shared among interested parties. The dissemination carried out in SCARLETT was two-fold: External and internal. The first one was mainly focussed on organisation and participation in dedicated events, technical publications and other technical and advertisement material. The second one, was achieved through dedicated technical meetings under each project WP, organised events in the project as well as at the Demonstration events and Review meetings.
During the 48 months of the SCARLETT project several dissemination activities were carried out by the partners and are herewith reported. The main tasks were related with dissemination material development which includes advertising material and technical publications as well as the organisation of SCARLETT related events and participation in other relevant ones, including dedicated meeting with other EC projects and certification authorities.
Exchange with other EC projects have been achieved as ALICIA, ODICIS, DAPHNE, ADAMS, TAUPE and others. Presentations of SCARLETT to ESA, EASA, SESAM and Clean Sky JTI were provided.
The project comprised the participation in around 60 events with a total of 100 publications. Two main events were organised in SCARLETT, the SCARLETT Forum in Russia and ALICIA-SCARLETT workshop in Brussels in 2009 and 2010, respectively.
The participation in AERODAYS 2011, has provided a unique opportunity to show to the Research and industrial Aeronautic community and to a wide range some results of the project. Dedicated materials have been developed for this event, namely technical training videos and software demonstration videos which were fully supported by a product project booklet (SCARLETT at a Glance-Virtual booklet) and product showroom.
The SCARLETT partners have attended to several technical conferences, workshops and industrial fairs in some of which have presented technical presentations leading to a set of 14 technical papers produced. Product prototypes and demonstrators developed in SCARLETT were showed at some n industrial fairs and project reviews.
It can be said that SCARLETT has achieved a quite good level of dissemination to a wide audience and geographical scope through a complete set of activities, material produced and partners fully engagement in the dissemination activities of the project.

2.1. INTRODUCTION
The dissemination activities planned and carried out in SCARLETT were mainly focussed at spreading as much as possible the main objectives of the project including the technical concepts associated, applied and developed tools as well as the work and results achieved. The exchange of information with relevant related research running projects and dedicated meetings with other programmes as Clean Sky and SESAM JTI and certification bodies as EASA has been target in the dissemination plan and achieved during the project.
The dissemination activities were supported by a package of dissemination material produced in the project including showroom of product prototypes and demonstrators developed by the SCARLETT partners.
Specific technical dissemination material was produced as posters, training videos, presentations, technical papers and leaflets.
The organisation of a dedicated SCARLETT Forum in Russia has promoted the exchange and collaboration with the IMA Russian Programme, bringing together the relevant aeronautical stakeholders particularly in avionics.
The participation in AERODAYS2011 was the breakthrough opportunity for SCARLETT to present the project concepts and main results to a wide audience which included research, industrial and political community coming from Europe and overseas.

3. CONCLUSIONS
The main objectives for the dissemination activities in the SCARLETT project have been accomplished although some of the previewed deliverables were not produced in the forecast format. These deviations have resulted from adjustments to the project progress and need to change the initial Plan for dissemination of results.
This aspect was particularly evident in the development of the SCARLETT Product booklet – SCARLETT at a Glance and the Software Video Demos where it was possible to make public the project developed products and distribute free of charge technical training videos and Software DEMO.
The SCARLETT partners engagement and collaboration and PMC support was decisive for the success of the dissemination activities and general impact.
4. ACKNOWLEDMENTS
The dissemination manager is grateful to all SCARLETT partners heavily involved in the development of dissemination products and material as well as in the participating activities. It was really a team work which has leaded to a strong impact of SCARLETT into the industrial and research aeronautical community.
The SCARLETT consortium is very grateful to the European Commission for all the promotional initiatives and support given in organising and participating in some of them as AERODAYS2011 and ALICIA-SCARLETT workshop, respectively, leading to the dissemination of SCARLETT project and its results.
In addition, we also would like to thank to the representatives of other European projects as ALICIA and ODICIS as well as to EASA and also to the IMA Russian Programme representatives through our partner GosNIIAS for all the exchange of information and useful discussions.
Finally, a special thanks to the Coordination Team, in particular the Project Manager, Mr. Didier Hainaut and Mrs. Isabelle Forcier, and to the PMC for their great involvement and fully support in all dissemination activities.
