My Soul ProjectA Window to My Soul

As C.S. Lewis once said, “What can you ever really know of other people’s souls – of their temptations, their opportunities, their struggles? One soul in the whole creation you do know: and it is the only one whose fate is placed in your hands.” Only I can change my soul’s appearance and outcome, which signifies my main quote, “Take me as I am.”

“Be true to yourself and follow your heart.” By doing so, I act in accordance with who I am and what I believe in. I am never afraid to accept and appreciate myself. I always keep in mind that I am a unique individual who was created with a special purpose: to plant and spread the seeds of my individuality and productivity.

“The most precious gift we can offer is our presence. When mindfulness embraces those we love, they will bloom like flowers.” One of the most important and essential things that allows me to live a great and joyful life is my family. Willing to follow values to be successful in life, I also support my family to keep this success advancing towards the future. With the picture of my family placed over a bouquet of flowers, I always keep in mind the significance of one of Marcelene Cox’s quotes. “Children in a family are like flowers in a bouquet: there is always one determined to face in an opposite direction from the way the arranger desires.” I am a child who, although respects my parents, longs for a difference from the familiar and wishes for independence.

The significance of the cross shows my appreciation to my crucified and resurrected Christ. “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Always keeping this in mind, I know that my different actions can point me towards a certain path, but I always strive for the best. Above the cross, is another reference to journey because one of my quests in life is to remain happy during the worst of times.

Although not always perfect, my image and personality can have two sides to itself, similar to the yin yang symbol. While the yin is dark and passive, the yang is bright and active. This continual change corresponds with my everyday activities, but I always try to stay positive. The peace, love, and music image illustrates my personal peace and earth-centered unity.

My soul is painted the color gold, which embodies the characteristics of joy, happiness, optimism, idealism, hope, courage, intellect, confidence, and charm. The color gold shows my interesting and stimulating personality, especially since I am active and involved in whatever is going on. This color expresses my lively and vital attitude with a desire and hope of greater happiness. I always strive to think about the positive outlook on life. “Dream as if you could live forever. Live as if you only have today.”
