the MAIN forms of COMMUNICATION used by TEENS and TWEENS.

The recent cyberbullying statistics are inexcusable
and out of this world!

The National Organization Fight Crime conducted a
poll and found 1 in 3 teens
and 1 in 6 preteens have been victims
of cyberbullying.

As well, studies show 1 in 4
children have been
cyberbullied more than
once.

Trust is important! Only 1 in 10 victims will inform a parent or trusted adult of their abuse.

Being a victim can lead to depression,
suicide thoughts, as well as lower
academic achievement.
Being cyberbullied can cause

Prime Minister Stephen
Harper and the Federal
Government
are now considering NEW laws to
PREVENT cyberbullying.

These will include a ban on
distributing intimate images without consent.
